About Marketing for Charities

Marketing for Charities is brought to you by House of Marque, a marketing partner run by two founders, Adam Graver and Lucy Collinge. When you call, one of us answers. Adam spent years in the third sector before marketing. Lucy brings sales, new homes and agency leadership.

Two founders, no account manager

Marketing for Charities is brought to you by House of Marque, a marketing partner for ambitious businesses. We tell you what to do, then we do it with you.

There is no account management layer. When you call, one of the two founders answers. The person who sets your plan is the person who helps you carry it out.

Adam Graver

Adam Graver, co-founder of House of Marque

Adam worked in the third sector for many years before moving into marketing. His early career was spent on social return on investment projects, measuring and valuing the change that charities create.

He then spent a decade running marketing, most of it inside a national network, finishing as Head of Marketing for one of the largest groups in its field. That gave him a corporate discipline in planning, measurement and governance that few charities can afford to hire.

His expertise covers search and AI visibility, email, CRM, network dynamics and sector regulation. He has been Marketing Lead for Transforming Autism and is a trustee of the Nikki Waterhouse Trust, so he knows what it is like to sit on both sides of the board table.

Lucy Collinge

Lucy Collinge, co-founder of House of Marque

Lucy spent six years on the front line of sales from 2015 across multiple brands. She learned how to talk to people, understand what they need and ask for the decision.

She went on to senior marketing roles across new homes and residential property, then into digital marketing alongside Adam, and more recently ran a full in-house marketing agency. She knows how to build a team, set priorities and keep delivery moving when time is short.

Lucy brings the planning, team leadership and delivery side of the partnership. Her background is in business, not in the charity sector, and we say so plainly.

Charities are built into how we work

Adam’s work in the third sector spans a range of organisations. Some of it was on projects and research, some in staff roles and some as a trustee.

We do not claim more than that list shows. It means we understand how charities are governed, how they are funded and how they talk to the people they exist to serve.

Corporate discipline. Charity tone.

Charities deserve the same quality of planning that large organisations take for granted: clear objectives, measures that matter, a named owner and a plan the board can read in ten minutes.

They also need a voice that sounds like a charity. Warm, plain, respectful of the people involved and careful about what it claims. We bring the first and protect the second.

Frequently asked questions

Who will I be working with?

One or both of the founders. There is no account management layer and no handover to a junior team. The person who builds your plan is the person who helps you deliver it.

Do you work with charities across the UK?

Yes. We work with charities of any size anywhere in the UK, remotely and in person where it helps. The first conversation is a 30-minute call, so location is rarely a barrier.

Why is a property marketing business working with charities?

Marketing for Charities is brought to you by House of Marque, which works with ambitious property businesses. Adam’s earlier career was in the third sector, and the planning discipline we use in business applies directly to charities that need senior marketing leadership.

Can I speak to someone you have worked with?

Yes. Ask on the discovery call and we will arrange it where the people involved are happy to talk. A full case study will be published here when our current engagement ends.

Are you a charity or a not-for-profit?

No. House of Marque Limited is a limited company. We agree our fees in writing before any work begins, and we say plainly if another route would serve you better.
